Dr Levinson is the John R Evans Chair in Health Sciences Educational Research and Instructional Development, the Director of the Division of e-Learning Innovation, and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. His areas of interest include education research, neuropsychiatry and pharmacogenetics. He completed a Master's degree in Critical Theory prior to his medical studies at McMaster. Throughout his training, Dr Levinson has been extensively involved in medical education, teaching neurology, neuroanatomy, neuroimaging and psychiatry to medical students and residents. He has a strong interest in curriculum development and new instructional technologies, including the use of computers and multimedia in medical education. Dr Levinson has won numerous awards and presented at several international meetings.
